Like any other puppy, they deserve the same amount of love and attention. Although some of the puppies are naturally healthy dogs in the notoriously harsh climates of the area, it should not be taken for granted since it is usually the puppy with the essential guard duties to perform. It is only healthy and appropriate to give these pets perfect attention and proper care. Always try to make sure your puppy understands what you want to do by practicing these dog leadership and obedience training procedures.
Provide with Clean Quarters
It is said that puppies are often kept in regions where they are not entirely protected in the environment. There are instances where I sometimes see this dog chained up with only the concrete floor as a mattress. A puppy is fortunate to have some cardboard as a companion to protect it from the heat of the day or to endure the cold of the night. If our particularly purebred or stolen puppies receive expensive beds, then the puppy should at least find a shelter or a place in the house where it is completely protected from these components. The puppy is no different than other dogs who need a place to live in safety and comfort.
Provide with Food and Water

Give the puppy regular food and water because pets have been shown to live on their owners’ scraps. Unlike other breeds of pets, the puppy is not picky about its food. It loves and appreciates leftover rice, fish, and meat. Although puppies are not fussy about their food, they must be fed regularly. Also, like any other monster, they have cravings. Puppies can be fed pet food, contrary to the traditional but mistaken belief. Like any other puppy, puppies mustn’t be overfed, so they don’t get fat. One bowl of clean water per day is excellent for your puppy. He should have access to clean water, especially in the summer or rainy season. Remember that the heat in this tropical country can be unbearable and often leads to pet dehydration.
Provide Fun Exercise and Training
Walk proudly and exercise your puppy. I understand how lucky your puppy is to find a human who cares about him. Indeed, this is a fantastic indication that puppies are now considered a unique breed that is certainly not bad for wild dogs. A puppy is a cheerful dog and needs exercise. It benefits greatly from having the opportunity to play or work in the yard. If he exercises or walks regularly, the puppy can develop more confidence. Exercise keeps the puppy fit and makes him more agile and not overweight.
See a Veterinarian for Check-Up
Whenever I go to a puppy clinic, I find many dogs being screened. Unfortunately, however, through the clinic’s glass, I see puppies trying to live on the streets without medical care. Puppies need to be clinically examined, just like any other breed. They should be inspected regularly by a professional veterinarian to make sure they stay healthy and strong. Puppies should receive full vaccine protection against diseases such as rabies.
Give Them Extra Care
Whenever I see a pet sporadically bathing in these dog rooms, I can’t help but think of the puppies at home or even on the street who have dreamed of having the same encounter. Even if a puppy needs very little grooming, that’s no excuse for not bathing him at least twice a week. Puppies with long coats need to be washed more often than those with short coats. Examine his entire body for signs of ticks and fleas. Have them removed immediately to prevent infestation. Your puppy’s ears should also be cleaned. Trim your puppy’s nails regularly to prevent overgrowth.…
